Faux Suede by Dazzle-It!

I was quite honored to have been asked by the wonderfully fun and talented Carmi Cimitata to participate in a blog hop using new faux suede and faux suede tassels by Dazzle-It!
This product is available in a wonderful array of colors and is very nice quality. While we all received an assortment, we were asked to use the primary color we received in our pieces. The primary color I received, I must admit, wasn’t my favorite – yellow – but the challenge of how to use that color with other things from my stash was quite fun!

I made 2 pieces – both Kumihimo – a necklace with 2 strands of the faux suede and 2 of chain – with a smattering of Unicorne teardrops and, of course, my beloved Swarovski elements (some Rose Peach rounds and Lt Green pearls) as accents.

The second piece I made was a bracelet in half round Kumihimo braid with the yellow faux suede in the centre and plum 1mm rattail on the edges – this way I was able to use the lovely plum colored tassel too. Oh – and had to add just a tiny bit of Swarovski by way of the new Blackberry coin pearl.

Thanks for the opportunity, Carmi. It was fun! Looking forward to seeing what others have created.
